Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before starting your journey.

I What makes BibleLum different from a standard Bible app?
Most apps only provide static text. BibleLum guides you through all 66 books across 300 days, one short conversational lesson at a time. Each session explains the main idea in simple language, with occasional visuals, quick checks, and gentle guidance — making Scripture feel like a dialogue, not a chore.
II I'm busy — will I be able to keep up with the study?
Absolutely. BibleLum is built for beginners and busy people alike. Each daily session takes only 5 minutes. Prompts help you connect Scripture to real life and build a small daily habit — one step at a time, without getting stuck.
III How long does it take to complete the entire course?
The curriculum is systematically divided into three stages, each lasting 100 days. Stage 1: Building the Foundation. Stage 2: Deepening Wisdom & Context. Stage 3: Completing the Full 66-Book Transformation.
IV Can I record my personal thoughts during the study?
Yes. At the end of each session, there is a Reflection Space where you can write down your thoughts or prayers. Prompts help you connect Scripture to real life, and you will receive warm, spiritual feedback based on your reflections — turning study into a meaningful two-way conversation with God's Word.
V Does my progress sync across devices?
Yes. By signing in to your BibleLum account, your study progress, completed days, and personal reflections are automatically synced across your desktop, tablet, and mobile browser.
VI Is BibleLum free to use?
Yes — you can start completely free. The first 3 days of every book are available at no cost, with no credit card required. When you are ready to go deeper, you can upgrade to the Monthly plan ($9.99/mo) for full access to all 300 days, or purchase the Full Journey Bundle ($59.99 one-time) for lifetime access at the best value.

VIII Why is the same book sometimes spread across multiple phases or days?
This is intentional — it follows a Spiral Learning approach. Large books like Genesis (50 chapters), Psalms (150 psalms), and Isaiah (66 chapters) are too rich to absorb in a single pass. In Phase 1 you read the full narrative; in Phase 2 you revisit key chapters with deeper theological focus; in Phase 3 you re-read them paired with a New Testament counterpart to see how they connect. For example, Genesis 1–3 appears three times: once as a story (Phase 1), once as a theological reflection on creation and the Fall (Phase 2), and once paired with Revelation 21–22 to see how the 'new creation' echoes the original (Phase 3). Each re-reading unlocks a new layer of meaning.
IX How does the Phase 3 "parallel reading" strategy work?
Phase 3 pairs Old Testament and New Testament passages that share the same theme, so you can see prophecy and fulfillment side by side. Examples: Exodus 25–31 (the Tabernacle blueprint) paired with Hebrews 8–10 (Christ as our High Priest); Isaiah 53 (the Suffering Servant) paired with John 19 (the Crucifixion); Psalm 32 (forgiveness of sin) paired with Romans 4 (justified by faith); Genesis 1–3 (the first creation) paired with Revelation 21–22 (the new creation). This method helps you see the Bible not as 66 separate books, but as one unified story pointing to Jesus.
X How much do I read each day, and how long will it take?
Each day covers roughly 5–10 chapters, carefully chosen so the session takes about 5 minutes — including the AI-guided conversation. A few design choices keep the daily load manageable: Short books (4 chapters or fewer) are paired with the previous book on the same day, so no day feels too light or too heavy. Psalms are spread across all three phases in thematic clusters rather than read all at once, preventing fatigue. Each phase closes with a 'capstone week' of highlight passages (Psalm 23, Isaiah 53, Romans 8, etc.) to help you reflect before moving on.

"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path."
